My new do!! This was the second go around. The first time I saw this cute hair cut in a magazine and had the girl cut it that way. Well, I couldn't do it like the girl in the magazine, so it just looked like I had stepped back into the 70's. THe hair do wasn't good then and it shouldn't have come back! So I went back in and had the girl fix it. Too all of you in Walla Walla- Misbehaven Salon is great.....ask for Ashley with a baby.

I had this basket full of towels in the bathroom when I was giving Lyssie a bath. So while I scrubbed her, I put Hallie in it. She loved it!.....Mostly she just loves to hear the water running in the tub, and the blow dryer. She would probably like the vacuum too! Totally opposite of Lyssie!

The fam getting in some religion. Jake was getting ready to go home teaching and Lyss climbed up on his lap with her Friend. When I looked over I just thought it was too cute and I couldn't believe my camera was right there to capture the moment!

Lyssie helping me make biscuits.

Our new wheels! Aren't I cool!!!!

Lyssie LOVES to sing! She LOVES to make up her own songs with words that you can't understand. She has started reading books to herself and Hallie. She'll help Hallie fold her arms for prayers, then when they're done, she says, " good job Howlie!" (That's how she says Hallie.) She is such a big helper with Hallie....she loves to "do-un she's buttons", get diapers, help with Hallie's tubby and give her lots of hugs and kisses.

A Baby Story

Here is my baby story.....
I wanted so bad to go into labor on my own with this one and do it the "real" way. Well...once again I had to be induced. My body doesn't get the whole labor thing on its own. It has to have some encouragement. The day before I was supposed to be induced, Lyssie caught an awful cold. By that night she was running a fever. I was so upset that I would have to take her to someone else to be tended when she was sick. I didn't sleep hardly at all that night because Alyssa didn't sleep and she DID NOT want Jake. So the next morning bright and early...5:30...we dropped her off at our Bishop's house. (His wife was the one tending her.) Then Jake and I headed to the Hospital. They started me on pit and broke my water by 7. When they checked to see how far along I was, I was exactly what I had been a week before at my Dr. appointment. This child had no intentions of coming out any time soon! I got my epidural around that same time too. While the guy was giving me the epidural, my blood pressure dropped to like 50/30 and I felt like I was going to throw up. So they laid me down and the BP came back up. Then it was just the waiting game. I was in and out of sleep for most of the waiting...except when I felt like I was going to throw up again and they gave me some great drugs that worked like a charm. By noon they were telling me that it was almost time to push. I was so loopy and dopey! But then it was time and 3 pushes later she was out and I didn't feel any of it!!!! Why anyone would opt to not have an epidural is beyond me. I had thought for a minute that I could do it without...I'm so glad I didn't! It was so relaxed this go around. With Alyssa the epidural war off at go time, so I pushed for an hour and a half feeling all of it. So the moral of my baby story is to always get an epidural!

Hallie is such a sweet, easy going baby. But when she is mad, she is mad! She sleeps so much which is so different from Lyss. She does OK at night. I just can't wait to get into a routine. Any suggestions on how to deal with Alyssa wanting to hug and lay and squeeze on her all the live long day?

HAlLoweEN!

This is the story of poor Hallie's life! Lyssie loves this girl so much and mauls her all day long! I'm glad that she likes her though!

Halloween girls!

Our finished Pumpkins. We were going to get our pumkins from this little country store here...they have a huge slide and caribou and stuff....but they closed too early to ever get there after Jake got off work. So we went to Albertsons....They at least had some straw bales holding the pumkins! Lyssie wasn't sure about the whole cleaning the pumkins out. But all in all she thought Halloween was great!
