Hallie's 6 Months Old!!

We went in for Hallie's 6 month check up last Monday. She weighed in at an even
20lbs (which was over the 99%tile) and was 27 1/4 inches long (which was the 94%tile)
She is starting to have a mind of her own. If she is playing with something and Lyss takes it away, she will yell so she can have it back. She has also become quite the momma's girl. She loves to go tot he park and swing. She just likes being outside watching Lyssie play. I just love huggin on her fat squishy body!!!

Lyssie gets smarter everyday! She knows all of her colors now and knows what the #7 looks like. (Because Jake and I don't get out of bed till the clock says 7!!!) This may sound bad, but I love it that she interacts with the TV. Like when Mickey asks what shape(which she knows all the basics!) this is and she says it or when she dances with Dance-A-Lot Robot....too cute!!! She is an outdoor, friend junkie! She does great on voice command and at the store she is soooo good about staying right by me. (except in the baby clothes section at Target....I don't know why she has to be so wild in that part!) When we are at the store and we walk through the baking stuff, she always has to stop and play with everything and pretend to cook things.

I could go on and on about both of them, but I should go to bed now!

Sweet Sisters

I just put Hallie and Lyss down for naps. I went downstairs and 15 minutes later I hear Alyssa's little feet walking around upstairs. Grrrr. Then I hear the door open into Hallie's room on the monitor. Double grrr. She better not wake Hallie up. No other noise . I better go up and see what she is doing. When I get up there, she has climbed into the spare bed in that room. She told me that she just wanted to sleep in there with Hallie. How do I get mad at that?.......Well, as I knew it was....just her way of not taking a nap. I love her!

Catch Up!

Some of these pictures are from over a month ago! Better late than never right??!! COOL DUDE! Lyss showin off her finger painting hands Our green eggs and ham and shamrock pancakes that we ate on St. Patrick's day I just love this face!!! Lyssie was helping me organize the toys....she did such a good job! She got them off the floor!! Oh I just love them!!! Alyssa was SOOOOO tired one day. We all know she was so tired because she fell asleep watching the princess movie on my lap, then when I put her in the chair so I could go get Hallie she kept sleeping like this for another hour!!! Even with Hallie squealin and playing on the floor right next to her! I love sepia colored pics. Even if it is an ugly picture, you color it sepia and it looks GREAT!! And it's even better when you have such cute little faces in it! We have had PERFECT weather here this last week so we've been able to get out and enjoy it. Yesterday we went to the park with some friends and had a picnic..... Fed the ducks.... and did some swinging! Hallie LOVES swinging! She giggles the whole time! Lyssie was being tricky in her swing. Most of the time they play so cute together...Lyssie mothers her and Hallie just goes along with it for the most part. I hope they always are good friends!
We have been in and out of colds and stomache flu...mostly just Lyss...and playing outside and roasting hotdogs. We were all at church and stayed for the whole time last Sunday for the first time in a month!!I hope we can all stay well now and enjoy our spring!

HOPPY EASTER!!!!

We got to have Grandpa Carvel and Grandma Patty here for Easte again this year. We kicked it off with the candy hunt at a park in Walla Walla. (Pics at Bottom) It was a very cold morning to be out hunting candy but it was fun. On Sunday the Easter Bunny came and left the girls a few little goodies, then we watched conference, ate yummy food, watched more conference, dyed eggs, then ate YUMMY strawberry pie. I LOVE strawberry pie. It was kinda a bummer that it was conference and they didn't get to wear their Easter dresses to church, but when they wear them, those pics will come....if we have a camera by then. Ours had a fatal crash with the floor.

Cute girls being cute girls!!

Lyssie covering herself in the stickers that came with the egg dying kit.

Oh I love that fat face!!

The Hunt

My parents came at the beginging of the week and we had lots of fun with them seeing and learning about our town. Thanks to all the Grandparents for coming and seeing us!! We love you!
