HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAKE!

Jake's sad sad cake! So it was going to be cute...the big cupcake mold thing. But alas, it wouldn't come out in one piece. So I did what I could with it, and this was all I had! Good thing it tasted good!

It was windy...hence the hand positioning!

Happy Birthday Jake! I love you so much! Thanks for all you do for me and the girls!

Camping

This was Hallie's first camping trip. She did pretty well.....until about 1:00 AM. Then she decided to be up until 3:30.....ending with her screaming herself to sleep in the van with Jake. Let's cross our fingers that the next time will be better....did you hear that...I said the next time!!! CRAZY? I think so!!!!

Breakfast the next moring

Jake makin us pancakes! What a great husband! We should go camping more often....he likes to cook when we're camping!!! ;)

Alyssa and her little friend played so well and hard the WHOLE time!

I just thought Lyssie's face was hilarious in this....kinda rat like!!!

A very tired FILTHY Lyssie! This pic doesn't even come close to giving it justice....she was covered in dirt all over!

HOLY COW!

So we had an unexpected guest the other morning. I was looking out our back door and I see an animal start walking across our yard.....a red dog?....No How about a RED CALF! (We live in the middle of town.....kinda random!) Anyway- I didn't know who to call....not like all growing up where there's an animal out and you know excactly whose it is and who to call to come and get it. I went out the front door to see where he had gone and he came around the corner of the house. He looked at me and Lyss...who started freaking out.....and then took off across the driveway. We went back in the house and Lyss commences sayin ," That cow was going to church." I was a little confused. Then she said "He had his church shoes on." THen I started putting it all together. When he ran across the driveway his hooves made a clinking sound like when I where my high heels. It was soooo funny to go along with a funny situation anyway.
