Over Due!

It's been a long time! And this is about all the pictures that have been taken since then.....sad I know! Things are going right along. We got to go visit our WY fam the begining of this month. (I guess we saw the ID fam too!) Anyway it was fun to see them all and we had a good time....but.....Hallie ended up having to go to the Dr. in WY because she was having a hard time breathing. When we got her in there she had ANOTHER double ear infection....she'd been off atibiotics for three days! Plus he was pretty sure she had RSV. HOly COw! POOOR BABY! She did sleep fairly well though for having all of that...nothing like CHristmas! At that point I was SOOOOO done with all of the ear stuff that we were calling ear Dr.s on our way home. She got into an ENT the day after we got back and is getting tubes next Tuesday! AND she hasn't had an infection for a week! We have even got to play with friends this week....we hadn't done that in a while because it's been one cold after another! So here's to no sickness!!!!! (KNOCK ON WOOD!)

A couple of weeks ago Lyssie got to go to a Princess Spa party. SHe's already to go!!!

I finally gave in and put Lyss in a dance class. It's with the same teacher that she did the dance camp with last summer. She has been once and LOVED it! They were doing a straight leg stretch sitting on the floor and the teacher was saying to have their horses jump over the fence....meaning they reach over their toes with their hands. I hear Lyssie say " Oh no! My horse got away!" and the teacher said "Oh you better get it!" then Lyss said, while reaching as far as she could on her knees, " I can't reach it!!!" She's so dramatic and has the wildest imagination ever!!!! Our favorite past time is dancing to Hannah Montana. Even Hallie LOVES to dance and rock out with us.

Whoa Is Me.......

I generally try and keep this a very up beat, positive blog, but I must vent even though I know there are so many worse things out there, this is what is bringing me grief and no sleep right now......
I is Hallie get with an ear infection that has caused her to throw up for 4 days now. So this is pretty bad in and of itself, but to top it all off......Well let me start a week and a half ago....
It started on a Saturday night around bedtime when Lyssie had....an upset stomache to put it nicely. It ran down her legs, onto the floor, on the rug....You get the point. So Jake put the clothes in the washer to rinse them out, trying not to throw up. We got the rest of it cleaned up, including a very traumatized Lyss, and went downstairs to hear the washer making a horible noise and burning electric smell filling the house. Great....at a poopy time like this it goes out. My WONDERFUL neighbor and friend was so nice to let me do a load in her washer. Kay, so how long could it possibly take to get a new washer through a landlord? Well when they're in POrtland for a few days that adds time, then when Home Depot doesn't have a next available delivery time for a week, that takes along time! ......Back to the begining.....
So here we sit with no washer and a Hallie that just can't seem to beat this rotten stomache that has come upon her. I have done, I can't even count how many, loads of laundry at my WONDERFUL neighbor and friends house......Did I mention how wonderful my Neighbor and friend is???!
The washer is supposed to be here Thurday so here's to hoping and praying that it really shows up!
