A few good things

So I LOVE our house. BUt here are some of the things I have made and things that I just love:

The ceiling fan!!!! Oh my goodness I love the ceiling fans. There is one in our living room and one in our bedroom. It is amazing how they cool the room off! I love to sit in the recliner with it on and just be cool!

 My bar stools.....Oh I just love when things turn out the way I pictured them. My kitchen is John Deer....just in case you were confused by the stools!

This wall in the girls bedroom. Another thing that turned out the way I imagined it too!

While the bumper pad isn't quite what I wanted it to be, I still love it and I love the crib sheet! I haven't finished decorating his room but it will be John Deer too! You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl I guess!!!

Jumping Girls

I can remember jumping on the trampoline as a kid....like all the time! One of my favorite things to do in the summer was to put the sprinkler under it and jump. We got a trampoline this weekend so today while it was so hot I let the girls jump with the water! ANd they LOVED it! ANd I LOVED watching them! They were so cute and it brought back so many childhood memories. They love the trampoline all the time and usually go out and jump first thing in the morning! It makes me so happy!

We're In!

We are in our house! Did I mention OURS????!!!! It has been so fun and so expensive! We didn't have too many of the things that you need when you own your own house and have to mow your own lawn and such. We closed on it last Wednesday....the 25th. We slept here the for the first time on Friday. We did everything except the furniture load by load in our van! We are all unpacked, now we're just trying to figure out where to hang pictures and decorations. The girls love it! It's all one level, 2300 sq feet, 3 bedrooms plus a den, and an actual laundry ROOM! It also has a 3 car garage. Its amazing how much stuff we have put in the garage, but both of our cars still fit too! I loved that today when it was raining and I had to go somewhere.We are so excited for this adventure! This is the view from the front door....The living room is huge!



The laundry room! It has a big sink in it and its right off the garage, but you don't walk through it to get to the garage. We had to buy a new washer/dryer.

 The kitchen. This is looking into it from the dining room, which will be more like a parlor. I'm not really a formal dining room kind of person....probably not a parlor person either, but oh well! We had a "scare" with our garbage disposal. It quit working and I even went and bought a new one, but then Jake pulled out some of his handy man skills and fixed it! YAY!  Oh and you can't really see it, but it has a pantry too!
