In our new place, we have one of those white sinks. I'm not sure what kind of material it is, maybe porcelain. Anyway, I am having a hard time keeping it looking nice. When I wash dishes in it, it gets these black marks. They aren't scratches, but I can't get them off. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Your new place looks awesome and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it! Good luck with licensing - and I mean it! Alyssa's cake looks so great! I would have had a hard time cutting it too. You can buy a rubber mat to put in the bottom of the sink so you at least won't get marks there. They're sold i think usually near dish drainers. That's all I can help you with there. Sorry.
is it smooth and shiny, or smooth and dull? if it's the dull kind you can get some super fine grain sandpaper and rub the scratches/marks out when it's wet. don't do it when it's dry, or you'll leave big patches of rough marks where you rubbed it. hope this helps!
My favorite solution is the mr. clean magic erasers. You just get them wet and scrub they work great!
