Our new place

This won't be as entertaining as pics of Alyssa being all cute, but I just need to talk tonight.

When we first got to Walla Walla, I wasn't quite sure what we had gotten into. For an area of almost 50k you would think it would have a decent amount of stuff...Cheyenne is that big and had pretty much everything I needed, minus the hideous wind!!! BUt here, there just isn't much. The mall is being torn down to hopefully be rebuilt, there are hardly any restaraunts we can afford and there is no good place to take a walk. But what is does have is the church and amazing friends that we have met here. Our ward is just great! They have been so kind and welcoming to us. I was just called to be the Young Womens Secretary and Jake is the Ward Mission Leaders Assistant and a ward missionary. ( That should keep him on his toes!!) I am really starting to love it here and the fact that there isn't much to do isn't a big deal when you have great friends!!

that's sucky you haven't found awesome places to be yet. maybe they are hidden treasures that you will stumble across in your travels along the way.

I hear you! Just be glad your in Walla Walla and not Dayton. We really started to become a close little family simply because we have had a lot of great quality time together, I know its hard to look at it that way but really its a blessing, I could still have a Target though! OH btw I JUST got your voicemail about glofing... sorry my phone is super retarded. I might be calling you to get your hubbys help, we are moving all the big stuff Friday night... WAHOOO what a fun Friday huh:)

yeah. Serving in the Young Women's is so fun. You will love it! I bet it's nice to finally feel like you "belong" to a ward. Tell Jake I will work on more pictures. I feel like they are all the same of her sleeping, laying down or somebody holding her, but I will get to it.
