I have been VERY domestic lately. Tuesday, the bishop's wife helped me can some peaches and taught me how to use a steam canner. Then yesterday I made strawberry-peach jam...all by myself and it is delicious! Today I borrowed a steamer and canned peaches all by my big self!!!! I am so proud of myself...if you couldn't tell. It is actually very amusing to me to can and be domestic like that. And Alyssa was great for all of it!

Your canning looks wonderful Krista. Homecanned peaches are somuch better tasting than store bought. I have never steamed canned my peaches, I always hot water bath. Your peaches have a bright, pretty color. I'm glad Alyssa was cooperative.
Way to go lady! I haven't done peaches yet - Maybe next week.
