We had an eventful weekend. Saturday morning it seemed like Hallie was having some trouble breathing. I had Jake listen to her and we called the Dr. just to tell the symptoms and see if we needed to come in. They said yes, but our appointment wasn't for a while. So I put her down for a nap. When it was time to go, I went and picked her up out of bed and her breathing was even more labored and she felt warm. At the dr. she was totally lathargic and if me or Jake was holding her she was sleeping making little moaning noises. It was so sad! The doctor ordered a chest x-ray and after that she did a breathing treatment. The x-ray came back clean and the breathing treatment seemed to help. Oh yea...she had an ear infection on top of all that. So then we were sent to the hospital. She was a miseralble little girl until the fever finally broke in the middle of the night. We had to stay until Monday morning so that they could monitor her O2 levels. At the dr. they were 92 which is the low end of OK. They stayed up pretty much the whole time we were in the hospital. She never had to have Oxygen or IVs thank heaven!!She had a few more breathing treatments at the hospital. They decided to run a RSV test on her and it came back postive. They didn't think it was that at first because she has never had a really snotty nose.
Now she just acts like she has a nasty cold. She is raspy and coughs quite a bit but seems to maybe be wanting to eat a little bit more which has been a huge concern. Once again we have been truly blessed. It could have been so much worse!

Ooh that makes me soo sad!! I hate it when tiny babies get sick -- and especially not able to breath--I just wish they could tell you what the problem was!! Glad she is doing better!!
RSV is no good! that's so scary. They pretty much scared me to death when we brought Deakon home. telling me that it would kill him because he's a preemie and all. needless to say we've spent all our time at home since November. Ick. I'm glad she's doin better.
Krista! I just found out about Hallie today. We were out of town last weekend. That is so scary! I'm glad she is doing better now.
