Lyssie turned 3 on the 21st! She was so cute about her birthday this year. She told me that she wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting (I love that she actually had an opinion now!) A while ago I asked her what she wanted and she said pink princess shoes. But as it got closer when you asked her what she wanted she said just cake. So the night before her birthday after she went to bed, I decorated the downstairs with balloons and streamers and princess stuff and put her presents all wrapped in princess paper on the couch. I had it all planned that I would make her muffins...her favorite....and then while the cooked she would open her presents and it was just going to be great. I originally planned on letting her have a friend over that day and taking her to McDonalds for lunch and then having cake with frienda that night and.....I love birthdays and love to make a big deal of them! Anyway so that was how the day was going to go until......the plague hit our house with me as its first vicitim! The night before her birthday it just hit me and by morning I couldn't even get out of bed....so I didn't get to see her excited face when she went downstairs. I cried about this as I layed dying in my bed. In the end she did get to have McDonalds for lunch and she blew the candles out with just us...I think she had a pretty good day. That night she didn't want to go to bed because she was scared all her presents would be gone in the morning. She is sooo funny! Well, Happy Birhtday to my Lyssie girl! I'm so glad your little energetic self is in our family and I get to be with you forever!
This is the tutu I made her...I thought she would like it alot more that she does, but she looks so cute with it on!
In her Cheerleading outfit from Aunt Sally...Thanks Aunt Sally!
She was so excited to have us sing happy birthday to her and blow out her candles! She is wearing the little cheerleading outfit from Britta.
