Catchin' Up

So here we are, still livin' the dream! It has been a while since I have given information about what each kid is doing and stuff. So we'll start with Lyssie:

Lyssie is LOVING school and doing so well! It is so fun when she comes home from school and tells all her stories of what went on that day and then as the evening goes on more stories come out. She is reading, I think, so well for her age! And she loves to do. We carpool with another family in our ward, so I take all the kids to school and the other mom brings her home which is so nice with Danes schedule random naps. When she comes home alot of times she'll come in the door and say "Lyssie in the house!"....I think she got it off of Sid the Science Kid. She is really growing up so fast. On the first day of school I asked her if she saw all her friends, who are in 1st grade this year, at recess. She said, " Yea they were all crowding around me and talking and stuff!" And she said in this "I'm soooo cool" voice. Not alot of confident issues there! It's defenantly different at home while she is at school all day. Lyss has gotten alot less picky about food, but still has her moments. She will still eat ANY fruit or sweet thing put in front of her. She has moved into the girls side of clothes....no more T's!

  
Hallie has just gotten so big with Lyss at school. She really has stepped up to being the big sister. It has been so fun to see HER personality and not just go with whatever Alyssa says or does. She is pretty independent, loves to read stories, has taken up watching Dora and MAx and RUby. She loves to help with Dane. She can count to 13 all by herself, sing her ABC's, knows her colors.....pink being her favorite. She will eat just about any kind of real food put in front of her, but doesn't get off on alot of sweets or fruit. She turns 3 on the 14th and wants a pink cake and presents! She is wearing 4T clothes.....clothes Alyssa was wearing last year! She is so tall! Her nursery teacher is amazing! They were talking about King Benjamin and so she made them capes. Hallie told her that she wanted to give it to Lyss because she wanted to be the queen!  Then tonight we were watching a show and two people were dancing. Hallie asked why they were and Jake said because they're friends. Hallie said, " and becasue they love each other?" She is just so funny sometimes.

Dane is getting so big! He'll be 4 months on the 7th! Yay for bringing on real food! I have canned some pureed food for him and also frozen some. I can't wait for him to start eating it! I am trying to not by any baby food for him and just making my own.  He is nearing 18 lbs and about 25ish inches long. He needs 12 month clothes in the 1 piece rompers! His torso is super long! He has found his feet and loves to play with them. He has discovered how to spit and will lay on the floor and spit forever! He has also discovered his voice and will jabber away! His temperment is so much like Alyssa. He has a very hard time taking naps, wants to be involved in everything. He has 2 sisters who sure do love him.
