New Goal

Today I taught a lesson to my Sunday school class about the importance of record keeping....."Turning Hearts" was the lesson name. So my new goal is to: A- Take more pictures. I am going to work on taking at least 1 picture everyday. B- Put a new post up every Sunday with the pictures and maybe a little more writing about what we've been up to and what the kids are up to. So here we begin....tonight.

Here is Mr. D modeling some of the Christmas Decor.... and he is sitting up by himself!
The girls practicing the "wheel barrow". Alyssa is in gymnastics so they  have to do summersaults off the couch and cartwheels and....wheel barrows! I am absolutely loving watching these two become such awesome friends. There aren't many relationships as special as sisters.
This morning we did a photo shoot for our Christmas card. We fired up the fire place to set "the mood"! I'm not even kidding, I can't even get over how fabulously adorable, beautiful, handsome these children are!

Then we did some individual shots for fun. Dane is working on crawling! He scoots backwards around the living room now and is starting to push up onto his knees. Definantly better get baby proofing better!
 GORGEOUS!
Love how natural and happy she is in this pic. I only wish the flash wasn't bouncing off the glass!
Other things we're up to:
  • Jake is singing in a stake choir at a community event.
  • I'm making lists and checking them twice trying to get all ready for Christmas.....which we will be having right here in our own house! We are excited to start making our own traditions, but will miss being with family.
  • Alyssa is doing AMAZING in school and will have a little Christmas program in a couple of weeks.
  • Hallie is my right hand girl at home and loves to play with Dane.....even though sometimes she is rough! Like the other day when she decided to try and pick him up and dropped him. EEEEK!
  • Dane is at the stage where he is learning/doing new things everyday! He is finally loving solid foods....after a month and a half! He will be 6 months old in a few days.  We are working on just one feeding a night. It was getting ridiculous!
  • For Thanksgiving we went to Lovell and had a blast with the fam there. The downside......Jake had strep the whole time we were there! SO I guess me and the kids had a blast while he layed on his parent's bed and tried not to die. Poor guy.
So heres to keeping this weekly post going!
