December in A NutShell!

I just can't believe it's already January. The hoidays make the end of the year go by so fast! I have already thought up projects to do throughout January to ward off the January blues.....AKA fog. It usually gets so dreary and cold here for about 2 months....and then it's spring! Anyway- we had a fun CHristmas and a fun Month. Some of our highlights:

We made and decorated gingerbread houses at the begining.

We went sledding.....our Bishop has the perfect hill in his backyard for sledding. Just when they're starting to go fast, it's over! BOth the girls loved it! I have a video that will come!

I turned 25 and this is my cake I decorated! I just love decorating cakes. Jake got me a fondant book for Christmas and I was trying to think of some reason to make a cake!

We opened Jake's fam presents before we went to my house for Christmas. We all got some GREAT stuff! The Tea set and the recorder are probably the favs!

The girls (mostly Lyss) but Hallie has gotten into it too!...Love to dress up. Lyssie got some dress up things for Christmas and it came with necklaces, rings, clip on earings, and bracelets. THey both love to put them on and have me wear some too. Such girly girls!

ANd this was really taken tonight, but it was cute and I'm caught up now!

I forgot to take my camera to my parent's at Christmas, but we had a good time and Santa found us there! I just love being home for the Holidays. OUr drive back got a little exciting on top of the blues, but at least the steep part on the Walla Walla side was just wet thank heavens! NOw on with my January projects!

Hannah is totally into dressing up too. I'll get her ready for the day and she'll come back out, undressed, wearing her princess stuff or something. Fun times! Enjoy!
